Moreland Road Elementary - Mimio Core Skills 1 - 11-12-13

Hi Moreland Staff,
I enjoyed our sessions on Tuesday! I am so glad that you are enthusiastic about this new solution. Here are some notes about the Mimio software and hardware. Contact me if you have any questions and I will see you next week!

Tips worth knowing:
MOVING YOUR TOOLS AND CHANGING THE VIEW OF YOUR NOTEBOOK PAGE

You may want to place the Tool Bar to the bottom so that students can reach it easily.
>View
>Standard Tool Bar
>Choose placement

You may want to move where your thumbnails appear.
>View
>Tab View
>Choose placement

When you open a created file, you may want the students to focus on the content, not the tool bars.
>View
>Full screen

You may want your Studio Tools in a different place on your screen.

>Click the gray area at the top of the tools and drag the tools where you want them.

To collapse or expand the Studio Tools

>Double click the paintbrush at the top of the Studio Tools to collapse OR expand

If you close your Studio Tools accidentally, you can reopen them by following one of the 4 steps below:
1
>Tools
>Mimo Studio Tools
2
>Clicking the Tools icon in the status bar at the bottom of Notebook
3
>Right clicking on the Mimio Studio icon in the system tray
>Choose tools
4
>Hover at your board and click the top button on the stylus

Don't forget to go to mimioconnect.com. Create an account to have access to 1,000's of downloadable lessons! You can search by grade level or subject.
