TIPS WORTH KNOWING

MOVING YOUR TOOLS AND CHANGING THE VIEW OF YOUR NOTEBOOK PAGE

You may want to place the Tool Bar to the bottom so that students can reach it easily.

  • View
  • Standard Tool Bar
  • Choose placement

You may want to move where your thumbnails appear.

  • View
  • Tab View
  • Choose placement

When you open a created file, you may want the students to focus on the content, not the tool bars.

You may want your Studio Tools in a different place on your screen.

  • Click the gray area at the top of the tools and drag the tools where you want them.

To collapse or expand the Studio Tools

If you close your Studio Tools accidentally, you can reopen them by following one of the 4 steps below:

MimioStudio Tools
Please click HERE for a downloadable, printable, reference guide for MimioStudio Tools. Below are some brief videos demonstrating the MimioStudio basic tools. Some videos refer to an older version. However, the only difference that I see in the videos and the updated version is the icon for the eraser. It is in the same place on the toolbar. It just looks different.

The video below actually describes some tools that we will cover in upcoming trainings in addition to the tools that we went over February 25.
